New Format Questioning for FMGE (MCI) Exam

Till Sep,2012; FMGE Question papers used to come in only one format. Questions were only shuffled otherwise every examinee used to have the same set of questions which the others used to have.
But in March 2013, the board had put forward a new format which they have already experimented for PG entrance exam in 2012.
1) There are 8 sets of Question Papers now.
2) They have estimated 50-60% common questions matching with each set of papers. That means, every students will have around 50-60% of same questions as your neighbor students will have.
3) Students have frequently reported that their papers have more Surgery questions that Medicine or more PSM questions than Anatomy, Biochemistry & Physiology taken together.

Advantages-
1) You will be finding some very basic questions set for every subjects in your question paper.
2) Somehow, in one point of view; they made question paper very easy but in other view, suppose if a student didn't study Medicine well, he could get more than 50 questions from Medicine or other subjects. There wasn't any fixed percentage of questions for every subjects. Everything was shuffled and put to students in examination.
